Hands and Feet of Jesus

At Celebration Community Church, we believe that serving others is at the very heart of following Jesus. Through ministries like Missions, Hospitality, Meals of Blessing, the Kitchen Team, Altar & Prayer, and Celebrate Life (lay counseling), we extend Christ’s love in practical and powerful ways, both within our church family and throughout our community.

From welcoming guests with warmth, to offering a meal in times of need, to praying with those seeking hope, every act of service is an opportunity to point people to Jesus. Together, we live out His call: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”  - 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

Join us as we serve with compassion, reach out with purpose, and shine the light of Christ to a world in need.

Missions Team

At Celebration Community Church, our Missions Team is dedicated to extending God’s love beyond our walls, both locally and globally. Through annual mission trips, community outreach, and partnerships at home and abroad, we seek to serve, uplift, and share the hope of Christ with those in need.

This ministry is more than just service projects, it’s faith in action. Together, we live out the Great Commission by bringing the Gospel to our neighbors and the nations, demonstrating that God’s love transforms lives and communities everywhere.

Prayer & Altar

Prayer is the heartbeat of Celebration Community Church. Our Prayer & Altar Team exists to come alongside others in moments of need, offering encouragement, comfort, and intercession through the power of prayer. Each week during services—and throughout the week as requests come in—this team faithfully lifts up individuals, families, and our community, believing God hears and answers.

Whether it’s standing with someone at the altar, praying for healing, or interceding quietly behind the scenes, the Prayer & Altar Team reflects our confidence in God’s Word: “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16 (NIV)

If you have a heart to pray and encourage others, this ministry is a vital place to serve and see God move.

Hospitality

At Celebration Community Church, we want every person who walks through our doors to feel seen, valued, and at home. Our Hospitality Team helps make that possible each Sunday morning by offering a warm smile, a kind word, and a welcoming presence. From greeting at the doors to helping guests find their way around, this team sets the tone for worship by creating an atmosphere of joy and belonging.

Hospitality isn’t just about being friendly—it’s about reflecting the heart of Christ, who said, “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” — Romans 15:7 (ESV)

If you love people and want to make a difference from the very first hello, the Hospitality Team is the perfect place to serve.

Meals of Blessing

When someone in our church family is sick, recovering, or walking through a difficult season, a hot meal can be a powerful expression of Christ’s love. Our Meals of Blessing ministry organizes meal schedules so that families in need are cared for and encouraged through the simple gift of food.

Here’s how it works:

  • When a need arises, we email out a Meal Schedule with available dates for people to sign up.
  • Anyone who wants to participate can provide a meal on one of the listed days.
  • If you’d like to be part of this ministry, please sign up at the link below or contact the church office to join the email list.

As Galatians 6:2 reminds us, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” This ministry is a beautiful way to do just that.

Kitchen Team

The Kitchen Team serves behind the scenes to bless our church family and community through the gift of food. From preparing meals for churchwide gatherings and special events, to providing comfort and hospitality during funerals, this team plays a vital role in bringing people together around the table.

Every dish served is more than just a meal—it’s an expression of love, care, and service that reflects Christ’s example. As 1 Peter 4:9 reminds us, “Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.”

If you enjoy cooking, serving, or simply lending a hand in the kitchen, this team is a wonderful place to get involved and make a meaningful impact.

The Assemblies of God

Celebration Community Church is an autonomous, self-governing church. Our pastors are held accountable by the Assemblies of God. By issuing credentials for our pastors, their moral, ethical, and theological standards are ensured for the partners and friends of Celebration. The Assemblies of God network is loosely affiliated — a cooperative fellowship — that allows churches and ministers to pursue their individual expressions and purposes. For more information about this network of churches and ministers, check out www.ag.org.
