But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. —2 Corinthians 4:7

We are jars of clay. As we go through life, we are bumped, bruised, cracked and broken. Celebrate LIFE Ministries uses the “all-surpassing power of God” through the Holy Spirit to comfort the broken, the disillusioned, the hopeless, the addicted, those in crisis, lost, or in despair. Just as God gave us comfort when we needed it, we pass it on, from one jar to another, then to another, until every life that we touch can see through the Holy Spirit “….the light of the glory of God in the face of Christ” (2 Cor 4:6). Extend your hand to us – we will take it!

Celebrate LIFE Ministries is a Christ-focused, Spirit-powered ministry of Celebration Community Church that provides professionally trained, commissioned Lay Counselors and certified Caregivers to bring comfort to those who need support. We are passionate about helping people in the church and in the community who are hurting, suffering loss, or in crisis, to experience the comfort and healing power of the Holy Spirit.

WHAT IS LAY COUNSELING?

Lay Counseling is one-on-one counseling in a non-clinical environment utilizing the highest regard in privacy and confidentiality. Volunteer Commissioned Lay Counselors and Certified Care-Givers are trained and taught in the principles of counseling and care-giving in order to provide loving support to others. We strive to be a conduit for the Holy Spirit to provide comfort and healing through His power.
